Teens and young adults will truly enjoy this as well as adult history or military buffs. Charge is $10 for adults and $3 for kids (not sure of the age cut-off). Also, the short video in the museum is well worth it.
That being said, it is a wonderful historical experience. I believe that kids over perhaps 8 years old are suitable, but under 6 or 7 seems to be a waste of time for the parents, and is certainly distracting to other patrons. The reason is that there is so much intricate detail inside the sub, along with the audio tour (in which you push a red button throughout the massive vessel) that you do need some semblance of peace and quiet to enjoy and comprehend the majesty of the Albacore. I can say that if you go at a time when the little ones are running and screaming through the sub, you won't be too thrilled. Bridge is a fun and exciting addition to any BRIO World railway set. We were fortunate, because shortly thereafter the attraction was invaded by an army of tiny tots, ages between 3 and 8. Press the red button to make the bridge collapse so that no trains can pass until. When we arrived, there were fortunately very few people on the site. I took my 14 year old stepson to tour the submarine.
